Our Poetry Event for Ballydehob Jazz Festival
Ah, another amazing and wonderful Ballydehob Jazz Festival! Another fantastic Poetry Event in Working Artist Studios. Exhausting, too, but absolutely enjoyable. We had a packed and rapt house for our special guests, Julie Goo, Paul Cobb and the Poetry Kiln Collective – David Hynes, Annie Peter & Fergus Costello. As usual, the house band interwove threads of song through the poetry (and it was especially great to have the three Ó Colmáin men play together in public for the first time ever! Dubhaltach, Murchadh & Paul.) A big thank you to the poets and musicians and to everyone who came along – sorry to the ones who couldn’t get in! It’s looking like we’ll have to have two Poetry events next year!
