Working Artist Studios

We are delighted to invite you, as part of the Ballydehob Maritime Festival, to attend a music gig in Working Artist Studios on Friday 14th June at 6.00pm, featuring two well-known musicians from the area: Mick O’Callaghan and Liam Kenneally.

Please note: this will be a pass-the-hat gig.

Mick O’Callaghan (lyrics, guitar, harmonica) and Liam Kenneally (electric fiddle) have both been playing for live audiences for over twenty years. Together, as ‘Between the Storms’ (formed in 2018), they play a full set of original music, written by O’Callaghan, to which Kenneally adds his own unique talent and flair.

In November 2023, O’Callaghan released a solo album, WRAPPED UP, through the Nero Schwarz record label. His songs are full of heart and depth and they reflect the times we live in, as well as celebrating Ireland’s rich social history and culture. Exploring themes of love, loss, and everything in-between, WRAPPED UP is a moving tribute to the West Cork landscape and its people.

You can hear the album WRAPPED UP on spotify here
