We are delighted to welcome back John McGeoch, who was here last year for the Ballydehob Samhain Festival, and who projected his films on the walls of Ballydehob buildings, including Working Artist Studios.
This time he will be showing a mixture of old and new: old poster art, photo albums and ephemera from the time he travelled around in a double-decker bus with a group of like-minded friends, called The Clown Jewels, stopping to perform for villages and towns.
He will also be working away in the gallery on his latest work, an animated telling of a story of a fiddle, made in the Highlands but which only plays Eastern scales. The fiddler and the fiddle take a long journey to Gaza…call in and see the story developing.
As last year, there will be some games and animation projections, so there will be lots and lots to see – for all the family!
The show runs until early June.
