Her first book, Thimblerig, an assured and masterful debut, “this wonderful book” (Bernard O’Donoghue) is beautifully written, a warm, sensitive and deeply moving collection.

A full house hung enthralled on every word of every beautiful poem. There followed a full and hugely enjoyable open mic session, with music, poems and stories until the wee, small hours, by an extraordinarily talented group of people, including, Kenny Dread, Afric McGlinchey, Michael Ray, Lothar Luken, Jamie McCarthyFisher, Simon Lockwood, Adele Ogier Jones, Miranda McCarthyFisher, Suzy Freelove, Viki Arato, Paul Ó Colmáin and others. Another truly magical night. Thank you to all who came, who read, who sang, who listened. And especially to our special guest, Annette Skade.
